El Bulli Restaurant in the Costa Brava

Voted the ‘best restaurant’ in the world for four years running, the El Bulli restaurant situated in the Costa Brava must be doing something right. Personally I would have thought the Costa Brava would be the last place to find the best restaurant in the world, however it is there in black and white and music to our ears as a last minute holiday to the Costa's doesn't tend to cost too much. This superbly acclaimed eatery is located in Roses and is only open between April and September. Saying has it that during the six months the restaurant is not open, the chefs are busy creating new and exciting recipes in order to keep that glowing reputation of theirs.

The El Bulli is run by a chef named Ferran Adria and all serious chefs from around the globe reckon that this guy is perhapsthe most gifted gentleman in the culinary world, and once you taste his food I am certain you will agree. Offering a staggering 27 courses, the menu caters to everyone, including vegetarians, and there are some rather peculiar sounding dishes on there. After sipping your free welcome cocktail, you are introduced to some of the subtlest, most explosive and bizarre flavours of your life. Every single meal served at this fabulous restaurant will exceed all expectations and one thing’s for sure, you will not be leaving with an empty stomach.
