Top ten worst hotels in Ibiza

Ibiza is a holiday resort that holds the reputation of being the party capital of Europe, and to be honest, that isn't far from the truth.

San Antonio, the place to be during the summer if your aged between 17 and 30. Bars and nightclubs line the streets filled with young party goers showing of their sun kissed glow, proudly earned earlier that day and the beach remains bustling as the bikini clad, trunk wearing holidaygoers venture to the beachside bars. You're guaranteed beautiful weather in peak season and those who are looking for all night partying and days sleeping 'it off' by the pool will not be disappointed. However, the down side to these holidays for young people is they tend to opt for the cheapest holiday offer as opposed to actually paying that little bit extra for a nice place to stay.

Some of the properties situated in San Antonio and surrounding resorts are horrendous, with the feeling that some Spanish hotel owners are almost taking advantage of these young tourists and charging them to sleep in the equivalent to a bedsit. Don't get me wrong, I have been on an 18 to 30's holiday and opted to book due to price as opposed to where I sleep (and yes, thats all the hotels are used for on these kind of holidays, somewhere to crash), but just where do we draw the line, and more to the point why should we have to sleep in poor conditions just to save a bob or two. Anyhow, having looked into some of the properties in Ibiza, San Antonio being one of them, I have came up with the top ten worst hotels in Ibiza that I feel should be named, shamed and ultimately avoided.
