Imperial Lodge Apartments, Marmaris

altTurkey is renowned for its cheap holidays and more and more British holidaymakers are opting for Turkey for their next summer getaway. There are a handful of resorts to chose from, from the quiet and scenic Side in the Antalya area to the bustling streets of Gumbet in the Bodrum area, there is a resort to keep everyone in the family happy. One resort in particular that is very popular with tourists is the thriving Marmaris. Situated in the Dalaman region, Marmaris is the most commercialised resort in Turkey and is where you will find the majority of the bars and clubs.  Hotels in this particular destination can be horrendous, however some can be fabulous. One hotel in particular that fits nicely into the 'fabulous' sector is the Imperial Lodge Apartments.

On first impressions, these apartments seem very basic. A small, low rise set of properties, only 17 apartments to be exact, the Imperial Lodge is a family run abode that prides itself on its personal level of service. All rooms have a kitchenette, a shower, WC, telephone, locally charged air conditioning and a large balcony. They are cleaned daily and your towels and linen are changed every three days. There is also a popular British restaurant on site with a menu that is said to cater to all tastes, and there is a weekly barbeque night that includes belly dancers and lots of fun and games. The little ones needn't worry as there is a lovely swimming pool with a sun terrace and for mum and dad there is a bar next to the pool serving refreshments until the late hours. If you want a nice little hotel that doesn't come with that hefty price tag, this Imperial Lodge is definitely for you.
