If you've been dying to go on a holiday but don't have the funds, go on a budget holiday! There are many great airfares you can look out for online, as well as travel packages that offer great value for money and fun cheap holidays. If you'd like to skip the guided tours, you can always save money by purchasing a map and reading up on the Internet about the general rules of thumb when it comes to wandering a foreign city.

Hong Kong, the bustling city where the world's favourite Chinese dramas originate from, is the cash-strapped traveller's dream. Steeped in both Eastern and Western culture, it is a paradise for shoppers and foodies alike. From steaming dim sum to funky street markets, there is something for everyone!

And if you're on a budget, the best place to stay is the uniquely-named Bridal Tea House (Yau Ma Tei), located in Kowloon, right next to Nathan Road which is a popular local shopping area (shopaholics rejoice!). It's also a mere stone's throw away from the Tin Hau Temple, Jade Market, Temple Street Night Market and also the Mass Transit Railway.

And budget holiday prices don't mean dodgy areas with horrible furnishings, etc. The rooms are clean, airy and bright, and some even come with a sea-view! Services include 24-hour laundry service, daily maid service, 24-hour room service, 24-hour hotel security, international mobile phone chargers, and the list continues.

Facilities consist of a Bridal Tea House Restaurant, a VIP roaltom and even a BBQ corner. And the best thing about it is that the hotel is part of a franchise, so there are Bridal Tea House Hotels all over the place in Kowloon! All you have to do is go to their website to find the hotel nearest to the place you'd be spending your time!
