Iphigenia Aparthotel, Ayia Napa

The Iphigenia Aparthotel is situated in the bustling resort of Ayia Napa in the south of Cyprus. Renowned for its party atmosphere and wonderful beaches, Ayia Napa is a firm favourite with young holidaymakers in search of a lively getaway. When looking for accommodation here, it is worth researching into the location as some properties are smack bang in the middle of the vivacious strip. If you are wanting to be right amongst everything and don't mind simply sleeping by the pool during the day as opposed to on an evening, then perhaps location won't be too much of a problem; however if you would prefer to be slightly out yet not too far away, there are some hotels that are best avoided.

One hotel that fits the bill for being central and lively is the Iphigenia Aparthotel. Fantastic for party animals, yet a nightmare for those wanting  peaceful holidays in Cyprus, the property is featured as an Escapades hotel (similar to 18 to 30's) andtherefore attracts the younger crowd. However it isn't simply the location that lets this abode down.  Having read the description of the Iphigenia Aparthotel it states that the apartments are of a simple style and offer a clean and comfortable stay with no frills attached, an understatement to say the least.  Ants climbing up the walls, an unbearable smell, cockroaches in the sink, hours without any water and extremely rude staff were just a handful of complaints that can be found on the reviews. Regardless as to whether you are travelling as a group of friends looking to party or as a couple, you expect decent standards in your accommodation. Unfortunately these apartments continue to let its guests down when it comes to service. However for all those reading this who want somewhere central, please don't be put off, there are some lovely hotels situated on the strip that offer a wonderful standard of service where you are guaranteed not to find ants, cockroaches or any other creepy crawlies for that matter.
