Want to escape the horrible English winter? Want to get away from all the wind, rain and long, dark nights? You might think that waiting until December is a good chance to get away, but it’s not always possible to just leave the Christmas routine as easily as you would like, especially if you have small children or relatives and family members who want you to stay at home.
One of the best solutions is November holidays – getting away just before the Christmas rush, allowing you to have the best of both worlds: a traditional Christmas at home and an exotic holiday abroad. November holidays are more popular than you might think, especially amongst retired people and students looking to find a great bargain on out of season holidays.
November is a great time to take a sightseeing holiday in many of the locations where you would normally go for a beach holiday in the summer. Places like Turkey and Greece have some amazing sights (Greece alone is home to two of the wonders of the world) that are often missed on during the summer because travelling around the country can be difficult in the oppressive heat of July and August.
