Summertime is beautiful time to travel but especially so in Amsterdam, where the tulips bloom in a dazzling array of colours only an hour's away from the city. Horticultural delights aside, the warm days and nights of summer holidays invite you to experience all the city has to offer - historical sites, beautiful old houses and parks and, of course, the nightlife!
You'd need a place to stay while indulging in all the wonders of Amsterdam, and where better to experience the best of Amsterdam than at Boogaard's Bed and Breakfast? Not only would you be able to take a break from sight-seeing by luxuriating in a beautiful house with hosts that epitomise Dutch hospitality, but the hosts will also be able to tell you where the best sights are to be seen. Take a stroll off the beaten track and go and experience facets of Amsterdam that are usually reserved for natives!
Boogaard's B&B is located in Langestraat 34, between four of the most beautiful canals in Amsterdam and just a short stroll away from Central Station which is located in the heart of the city. It is an ideal place to stay location-wise as it is nearby to the tourist attractions and restaurants, bars, etc, as well as being practically in the middle of the Jordaan quarter that's known for its galleries, etc.
The rooms are all equipped with en-suite bathrooms and queen-sized beds. The beautifully appointed living room is shared by all guests and is equipped with all sorts of amenities including a bookshelf full of guidebooks. Baked goods await your return from a long day of sight-seeing, and a sumptuous breakfast is served in the dining room every morning.
It is a completely different experience living in a B&B, and one that I'm sure you'd enjoy immensely as you'd have the personal touch from your hosts as opposed to the more impersonal hotels.
