A recent survey conducted by the travel review website, Trip Advisor, has exposed the top ten dirtiest hotels in Spain as chosen by you, the unfortunate holidaymakers who have to endure these quite frankly appalling abodes. From drunken teenagers to dead cockroaches in the bath, Trip Advisor has heard it all.

We know there is nothing worse than booking your package holiday, having to endure endless days at work awaiting the day you travel, thenhaving a smooth flight only to arrive at your hotel and find stains on your bed sheets and food being served that even your dog wouldn’t entertain. Hopefully the next time you visit your travel agent you’ll be sure to keep a note of these particular properties you need to watch out for.

Topping the list at number one is the Playamar Hotel in S’illiot. Often referred to as Spain’s answer to faulty towers, the Playamar Hotel has failed to impress any of its previous guests, with some of the reviews posted on Trip Advisor suggesting this hotel doesn’t even deserve to be branded a one star property, let alone a two star. Coming in at the bottom of the list at number ten is a hotel situated in Lloret De Mar called the

Guitart Capri. With many of the previous guests who have stayed here stating that the hotel staff never even had any recollection of their booking and in turn were very rude to them, it seems this hotel is a disaster from the very second you check in.

The remaining 8 properties that have been named and shamed range from 1 star hostels to 3 star hotels, all of which that have seriously let their paying customers down. Here we list all ten in hopes that you will avoid them on your future getaways.
